Blogging about Crime Fiction flourishes

The sole purpose of this blog page is to point to an enormous range of crime fiction blogs that you might follow.

They generally provide reviews of books you can read, but occasionally you will find an opportunity to enter a competition, follow a meme, and even follow an author.

Celebrating Book Bloggers

While we celebrate the efforts of book bloggers every day here on Crime Fiction Journeys, I'd like to draw a couple of ventures to your attention.

Marg @ Adventures of an Intrepid Reader has embarked on a venture to identify Australian book bloggers.

Enter the URL and details about your blog on Tell Us About Your Blog and then consult the A-Z index to find new-to-you blogs.

Marg has used labels to help you find book bloggers in the same state as you, and also labels for genres.

It's a great idea!

Later this year we will have BBAW and nominations are being called for in various categories NOW.

Social Networking and Book Blogging

In my "real" job, I do a lot of work online in the world of virtual environments and social networks.
It has been a great joy to see the expansion of the crime fiction reading world into book blogs, RSS feeds and social networks.
The purpose of this blog is simply to point crime fiction readers to blogs they might enjoy, RSS feeds they can add to their readers, and to provide an easy stepping stone to new sites of interest..
So my invitation to you, if you have a crime fiction blog, is to check whether I have yours listed here, and if not, leave a comment so I can add it.

Can I also point out the search box at the top of the right hand column? It is a customised Google Search that searches a very large number of specialised crime fiction sites and blogs. Use it to track down authors and reviews.

BBAW - Book Blogger Appreciation Week

This is the week to visit your favourite book blogger, come out of lurkdom, and leave a comment, letting them know that you at least watch what they do.

It would be nice too, if you find my lists on this blog useful, you left me a comment.
If you read crime fiction, use the lists to find some new people to follow.

This week on MYSTERIES IN PARADISE we are not only celebrating BBAW, but also Christie Week. There will be a blog tour beginning tomorrow, visiting 10 different bloggers.
I also have an easy to enter book giveaway running, with 2 of the books just for Australian & NZ readers, and 2 for anywhere in the world.

A Constantly Changing Landscape

The purpose of this particular blog page is to point readers to other crime fiction blogs you may enjoy. What I have done here is to embed RSS feeds from nearly 100 blogs which then display a snippet from the most recent posting on that blog.

I'm sure when you read them you will then decide to add them to your own bookmarks or RSS feeds. However, if it suits you better, just bookmark this blog, then come back and visit often, and chck out the changing landscape.
